Insta-Mold  is  a  fully  certified  CE  marked  product  for  the  use  of  Hearing Protection in Europe and conforms to BS EN 352-2:2002 (Hearing protectors, Safety requirement and testing. Ear-plugs).

The Insta-Mold solid full shell will provide an SNR* value of 29dB.

The Insta-Mold filtered full shell will provide an SNR value of 21dB

The Insta-Mold filtered CIC will provide an SNR value of 20dB.

We are Puretone Partners, this means we take impressions of your ears and work with you to specify the appropriate Puretone product for your needs.   We will then place the order with Puretone and when they are ready we will get them to you.

Although children can be fitted with Insta-Mold from 5 upwards it is unlikely that this is financially viable until around 10 due to the developing size of their ears. Very young children would need new pairs every 6 – 12 months.  To  maintain  an  ethical  approach  it  will  be made clear  to  the  customer  at  the  point  of  sale  that where children are to be fitted with  Insta-Mold  products then earlier upgrade (as the ear anatomy changes) will be necessary.

Insta-Mold  is  NOT  suitable  for  SCUBA  diving  or  free  diving  &  should  not  be used for this type of sport.

Insta-Mold is a custom product and will be subject to natural anatomical changes within the individual’s ears (most ears will get larger as we get older). 

The expected typical lifetime of Insta-Mold Custom Hearing Protectors is around 3 – 5 years with the degree of fit affected by changes to the shape of the individual's ear and also dependant on how often you use your earplugs.

The leading benefit of Insta-Mold is the fast turnaround time. The product can be made by Agents at shows, events and on industrial sites to provide a turnaround within a few hours.

However, where the product is taken away to be finished it is expected that your product will be dispatched to in the shortest possible time normally within a few days.

Yes you can buy a gift voucher, and the recipient can then arrange to have their impressions taken at a later date to suit them.  

We provide a guarantee of 1 year EXCEPT where there is evidence of damage through misuse.

We will be happy to provide a replacement ear plug via a direct mould at your convenience.

The replacement will be charged at a per plug cost which is 50% of the cost of  a full pair plus accessories.

Yes, our staff are trained and certified by the British Society of Audiology to take impressions, this costs £30.
